What is Lacqofi?
Lacqofi came to life when barista Lucas Lacqua needed a way to showcase his services and share his milestones within the coffee community. While it started with him, the vision was always bigger: a brand built to grow and welcome new faces into the fold. Lacqofi isn’t just a personal brand, it’s an umbrella for a whole ecosystem of coffee-driven products, services, and experiences.
A quiet moment to slow down.
Lacqofi is all about honoring the slow process, quality, and an obsession with detail. It aims to turn coffee into a ritual, a chance to hit pause and share a moment with friends.
Playful over everything
A playful brand isn’t afraid to break the rules of what a “traditional” logo should be. We leaned into that fun spirit, creating a primary illustrative mark for maximum personality, and a simplified version for small-scale use and versatility.
Color palette
We chose Forest Green as the brand’s anchor, designed to pop against a warm, inviting complementary palette.
Single Day
This is Fredoka, the font selected for paragraphs. Fredoka is a big, round, bold font that is perfect for adding a little fun to any text.
This font was designed by Milena Brandão and Ben Nathan.
Typography
For the headlines and callouts, we went with Single Day. For body text, we chose Fredoka, a rounded font that balances the main typeface perfectly, maintaining that friendly and approachable look
Bringing the brand to life
To bring the brand into the real world, we developed a curated set of merch. Featuring hand-drawn custom illustrations, we designed everything from stickers and totes to tees and coffee bags, keeping the visual identity fun and consistent across every touchpoint.
